Our Mission:

Build a global squad of cheer-LEADERS.

Shifting the “divide to conquer” attitude towards leadership requires a fundamental change in how we perceive and approach leadership roles. Traditional leadership models often promote competition and individualism, which can marginalize women and other underrepresented groups. By fostering a community of diverse and supportive leaders, we can create an environment where collaboration is prioritized over competition.

This shift involves encouraging mentorship and networking among women leaders, facilitating platforms for dialogue, and amplifying the voices of diverse leaders. Organizations should actively implement policies that highlight the importance of inclusivity and support, ensuring that all leaders, regardless of gender or background, have equal opportunities to thrive.

Creating a culture of support leads to shared successes and a more holistic approach to leadership. As women unite and uplift each other, they can challenge existing norms and redefine what effective leadership looks like, paving the way for future generations. By embracing a community-focused leadership model, we can break down barriers and empower all leaders to succeed together.

Our Mission

wilm&a builds a network that supports women in leadership through discussions and insights. By tackling their specific challenges, the community creates a supportive and collaborative environment. Sharing experiences and strategies helps members overcome obstacles while encouraging personal and professional growth. Together, these actions improve opportunities for women in leadership, boosting confidence and fostering positive change in the workplace.

We will thoughtfully fill these pillars with key ingredients, innovative frameworks, diverse perspectives, valuable resources, and much more to effectively tackle organizational culture, unconscious bias, breaking barriers, and promoting social impact.

allyship

The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. - Amelia Earhart

mentorship

Mentors should care enough to say, “ I want them to soar - not just soar under my wing” That’s a captive relationship.

Mentors don’t want a captive relationship. They just want to see people soar. They want to give them wings. - Indra Nooyi

Lack of female leadership in climate decisions affects our economy, our social structure, our ability to innovate and create solutions - Antoinette Vermilye

Women are making significant gains in representation, especially in the corporate world; however, there remains a persistent gap that, on many levels, still needs addressing and rectifying. Important questions must be asked, pivotal conversations should be had, and tangible actions need to be taken to create a more equitable environment for all.
